Kibum’s real older brother Kim Hyung Jun’s kiss scene has been revealed to the public.

Kibum, who debuted with U-Kiss, published a photo on his twitter account on the 18th of May with the caption “BREAKING NEWS- Hyung Jun’s kiss scene with her exposed”.

However, SS501 Kim Hyung Jun did not have a kiss scene with a girl. Rather, it was a photo of his kiss “bo-bo” pose with a brown puppy. Fans who have been anticpating Kim Hyung Jun’s kiss scene were disappointed as a result.

Netizens commented about the photo, “What? You got me.” , “both the puppy and Hyung Jun are so cute”, “recently many celebrity twitter’s photos have fooled us” and “I’ve been fooled”.

On April 28th, SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun shared a family photo of himself with younger brother Ki Bum as they celebrate their mother’s birthday.

He tweeted, “My mother, the woman I love and respect, and someone who deserves more than a lifetime’s worth of filial acts.  Today is the day you receive blessings.  Happy birthday.  Please always be healthy, and by my side, I’ll always make you happy.  I love you.”

Kim Hyung Jun Visits Park Jung Min's Birthday

SS501 members Kim Hyung Jun and Park Jung Min proved their strong bond on April 3rd.
Park Jung Min got together with his fans at the Konkuk University for the first time in seven years (since his debut) to celebrate his birthday with them. Kim Hyung Jun surprised Park Jung Min by visiting him and wishing him a “happy birthday”.
Park Jung Min took selcas with fans, wrote his name with his butt, and did many more silly things during the event to entertain his best fans. He also touched their hearts by reading a handwritten letter he previously wrote. The party came to an end with a music video that aired a montage of memories.
He will be releasing a mini album titled, “The Park Jung Min“, on the 7th, along with his photobook. Afterwards, he is diving into filming a Taiwanese drama.

[Normally when we meet up, we will go for a drink. I can’t really hold my liqour, but others member are very good drinkers. Solo Transformation, Hyung Jun," Do Not Know SS501, Can Still Become New Fans Of Mine"

Singer Kim Hyung Jun (25) has transformed from the title of being SS501 Magnae to a solo singer. He had a very serious expression in his eyes. As what was said ‘even if (they are) not aware of my existence, I will still hold on to my position”. Although has changed from 5 persons standing together on the same stage to Kim Hyung Jun alone, he can still stand on the stage. To this, Kim Hyung Jun has an unique emotional response.

For his first solo album Kim Hyung Jun “will give about 80marks”. “Doing Couple Dance with female dancers? Actually during SS501 activities I have already done it many times. Now that I have entered a mature age with my fans, we look like adults already. And now that I have received a lot of “stage recognition”, I will start carving a career like a man.”

Fans’ praises and encouragements are the main driving force behind Hyung Jun’s motivation. Since SS501 first debut stage, there is a portion of solid fans who have been always been staying by his side. “Time is the most expensive thing. So I have thoughts of wanting to do better for those who have invested 6-7 years of their time paying attention to me and liking me. Waited for a year, I went up on the musical stage and to lessen the burden of going solo, worked with the best artistes to create an album which I can say without feeling ashamed that considerable efforts have been put in. “Although I said there is no mental burden, but it is still 5x more difficult. Songs have to sing 5x more, choreography also have to dance 5x more, so there is still 5x the burden that is pressing on me. As a solo singer, in his first album he has already shown his big ambitions, working togher with E-Tribe, Rado who are composers in great demand, songs lyrics for “No other woman but you” and “Heaven” are all written by him. Title track ‘oH!aH!’ is created by E-Tribe with an Urban RnB style. Because of a rich and mysterious tune that climbs appropriately from one verse to another, this song is not something that is boring.

“I originally like style of the dance pop song ‘Girl’ made by Rado hyung. Although both songs are dance pop music but their styles are completely different. Because the competition for title tracks is very stiff, so decided that I should try to challenge a different style, therefore ‘oH!aH!’ was chosen.“

E-tribe’s careful and meticulous work style in addition to Rado’s comfortable and relaxed work style enable him to work on his shortcomings and highlighted his strengths, thereby bringing the satisfaction level for this album to 95%.

“The other 5% that is lacking is due to my singing ability, it is a pity. Been having ambitious greed about the stage. Recently I re-visited by initial resolution, and have once again attended vocal lessons. Would let everyone see the new singer, Kim Hyung Jun, Ha Ha!”

Due to unexpected fold of events happening in Japan, would be postponing Japanese promotion plans. Initially had plans to start Asia Tour and overseas promotions from April onwards, but now chances of changes are very high.

“After domestic activities have ended have thoughts of entering into Greater China market. Because Japan is our neighbouring country, so when having activities as a singer, was able to receive a lot of help. So as a singer, I’m thinking how I can contribute back and help.”

“I want to become somewhat of a comfort to Japanese fans”

SS501′s maknae Kim Hyungjun has thrown aside his ‘maknae border’ and has stood forth solely on his own.

Kim Hyungjun has released his first mini album [My Girl] and has returned to his fans’ sides with title track ‘oH aH’.

With this being his first challenge, he’s poured his very ecstatic feelings from the heart in this interview.

It has always been 5 of them doing activities but now that he’s all alone, he feels lonely and worried alot if he ‘can do well or not’. “However when the album with my name is given to me and placed into my hands, I feel excited and happy. SS501 colleagues have given me advices and been also monitoring me regularly, and that makes me feel reassured much”.

Especially through this time’s album, Kim Hyungjun will also show the different charms of himself. Not only did he have dance songs, of course, but also ballads, and also challenged writing the lyrics himself.

“Though it’s the first album, but because I’m doing this myself, music has turned out well to become ‘Kim Hyungjun’s trademark’ in a way. Especially on the part in the music where it’s about protecting the girl whom you like, it’s very similar to the distinctive cheerful profile of mine. And also I participated in writing the lyrics, I basically visualized by listening to the main outline melody. Half of my experience, half of my imagination ; by putting these together is my secret formula as a lyricist (laughs)”.

At the same time when he released his new album, Kim Hyungjun also attempted at his invadement into Asia and Japan. He who is expected to pick up his status as a ‘hanryu star’ has met with another standstill for the moment.

And this is because of the huge earthquake that happened in Japan. With this, a part of his invadement plans into Japan has to be re-discussed.

However, his priority at firsthand is his worry for his Japanese fans rather than his activity plans.

“During my solo album showcase too, many Japanese fans had made their way here… I feel a pity that such a huge tragedy happened. I’m perplexing over how I should give my condolences. First of all because I’m a singer, should there be any chances in future, I want to do a memorial concert. Music-wise that I could do, and the help that I’m able to give. If there are such chances, I will participate in them actively”.

All these while, besides his main profession as a singer, he also parallels diversified activities like radio DJ, musicals etc,

He also divulged about his aspirations to challenge acting if there will be any chance.

“Whether it be a sitcom or an official drama, I want to challenge them. I want to receive acknowledgment in many different areas, so that people will start to carve their impression of me as ‘the lad who can do well in anything he does’. In fact I’m the kind who worried alot before my new challenge because I’ll be alone, but after I finish my worries and go on to find my answers, I will then be able to eventually stand in front of everyone. I want to show my bright and confident side in front of all, anytime and anywhere at all”.

In addition, he is also slated for another challenge in time to come. After ‘My Girl’ promotions, he will be having a follow-up album in upcoming May where he will show his brand new side once again.

“Digital single album is slated for release at around May. There are parts where it will be like a continuation/link-up from oH aH’s content. In the next album, I will show to you ‘the charms of a man who can’t get to sleep because he’s fallen in love’ (laughs). Also, I will be releasing my first official album at around Fall. I want to receive the Bonsang award at the year-end music award ceremonies”.

Hyung Jun Talks About Kibum

Hyungjoon’s Interview with IS PLUS (*Only the parts relating to Kibum):

(Q) Your character business is flourishing.

(A) It’s truly beyond my expectation. Thanks to my brother Kibum that’s why it’s flourishing. Kibum even did the packaging of products himself, and also stuffed the cottonwool into the toys. The character cushions that were supplied to us and meant to be sold over 1 year has been sold out in only 2~3 months. Response in Japan and China is good too. Not long ago we also recruited 2 employees who are good in foreign language. We’ll start on aggressive overseas sales too. After the character ‘Piro Piro’ that was already released first, will be followed by another character ‘Siro Siro’. Our company is filled with the Festival Atmosphere. Haha.

(Q) How do you distribute the profits raked in from your business.

(A) I give it all to my brother. Because he’s the one working more aggressively his guts out for this.

(Q) Your brother Kibum withdrew from U-KISS. How will his future broadcast activities turn out like?

(A) He’s looking for an agency that will blend in well with him. Should there be any good agency for him, he’ll start his broadcast activities thereafter. It’ll be good if Kibum could succeed at first go, but I hope for him to become a singer who develops better and better over each stage by each step consistently.

Kim Hyung Jun,"I've turn into an adult."

“I, have turned into an adult”.

He who has now courageously stood forth as a solo singer aside from his group where he was the ‘maknae’. He spoke with strength in his voice. And on his expressions showed liveliness. He said he was reminded of his debut back then as a newbie where they shone through. Even during SS501 days, he was already well-known for being the ambitious one. He could not hide his overflowing desire in every thing.

“The best part about this is that I could subdue the camera all by myself? Haha. Should I say that I now feel lighter too? Our inner self doesn’t and can’t follow after like your desire, so I guess that’ll inflict internal pain, isn’t it. I want to challenge anything that comes by my side randomly but I’m trying to control that desire. What should I do so that it’ll be good? Deh?”

As if asking himself out of the blue, Kim Hyungjun enquired us about a path that could be better for him. Even without suggestions from people around him on what to do each day, he’s still spending every day busily. Besides being a DJ of SBS Power FM [Kim Hyungjun's Music High], he also took onto the stages as a musical actor in his musical [Cafein]. He’s also starring across in reality programme [Hyungjun forms a progamer team] as the team leader. He also has plans to carry out tours in Japan in April and also across 5 Southeast Asian cities in May.

“Since a long time ago I’ve been wanting to try and do many things. Not that I’m jealous or what; if there is a chance, that is. Been always awaiting. In the past, I was only concerned with stubbornly forcing it to happen, but it’s different now. I will tend to discuss with the people around me and make adjustments. While I try to make compromises, I also get to learn things that I didn’t know. So, do I look like an adult now?”

Album [My girl] is a turning point for his solo activities. Beginning since last year, he’s been perplexing over his stage and couldn’t find an idea. He who wanted to then let known of his impactful starting-out with that as a powerful dance song. However, the direction to go towards at was going round in circles. It was eventually concluded that the foremost priority is to have a stage that is simple and yet comfortable to listen to, which is how you can expand your audiences range. After a long period of perplexion, dance song [Girl] was thus arranged to be first released, whilst [oH! aH!] was laterwards selected to be his title song, which has to itself a popular melody which appeals to the audiences.

“[Girl] which emphasizes on the ‘hook’ appeals to me and I like it. I just needa show my desire out right. But, it was suggested to me that the most necessary thing first & foremost would be to have a song with a popular melody. To have with me a song by the E-Tribe hyungs was a wise move, even when I think back about it now. I won’t let that get at my head so soon. It’s only the start right now”.

Since he has had challenged the musical stage before, Kim Hyungjun also felt that this had helped in reducing his fear to carry out solo activities alone. He’s been faithfully taking on lessons for the past one year in order to prepare for his solo activities. However he is not conceived nor satisfied at that of himself. He lowers himself and sees himself at a hard-headed level. “If possible, I’d like to be more cool-headed. Even when I look at my stages myself, I feel awkward. If so, what about others. Seems like I’ve gotta learn to be more composed and adept already. Oh, my stage? Out of a good full 100, I think only 50 marks”.

SS501’s Hyung Jun teaches K.Will the ‘foot dance’

A video of singers K.Will and SS501’s Kim Hyung Joon having a ‘foot dance’ lesson in a waiting room has recently turned viral.

A staff present in the waiting filmed their peculiar dance battle, where you can see Hyung Joon teaching K.Will some of his foot dance choreography from his solo debut title track, “oH! aH!”.

After mastering the foot steps perfectly, K.Will then goes on to performing his newly acquired dance moves with his own ballad song, “My Heart is Racing.”
