High Cut Magazine, Super Junior," We Are One"
We are one.
Generally, in a group, the member who makes an appearance in a CF or drama receives the profit earned from the appearance. But Super Junior and 2PM are the exceptions. [Omitted] Super Junior agreed with each other that regardless of who earns more, it is only right for the members to receive the same salary, because they are a team. Thus, in Super Junior, the member who earns the most from individual activity pays for the members’ late night food. At the beginning of the debut, Leeteuk, Kim Heechul, and Kangin, became popular on variety programs which resulted in them earning more money than the other members. They tried to share their salaries with the other members. But, Yesung strongly resisted saying, “you hyungs suffered a lot to earn that money. How are we supposed to receive it?” But Kangin persuaded the other members by saying, “We are a team. If I did this to only better myself, why would I be in a team?” The members quarreled about the issue and then finally decided that the person who earns the most will pay for their late night food. When each member says what he wants to eat, the member who earns the most would pay for all of the food. Whether it is pizza or Pig’s trotters, the members can eat various foods. However, because it would cost too much to go out to eat, they only eat food that can be delivered. But recently, they’ve been using courier service for delivery.

Super Junior Kangin revealed his current situation after enlisting in the army
Super Junior Kangin reveals his current situation after enlisting in the army, claimed to have been reborn
Super Junior Kangin disclosed his current situation. Kangin uploaded a recent photo of him through the army's website and revealed his life in the army via a video interview. As he was talking about his life after enlisting in the army, he said “before entering the army, I have let my family and people who cared about me down, causing them to be disappointed and for this, I have reflected on it many times. Besides that, every night I fall asleep thinking “Will I be able to regain those love and care?”
“I have lost a lot of weight, became healthier and have also come to understand the country better. Although us soldiers often have to go through hardships, need to strive hard and are always on high alert, we will ensure that the citizens of the country will continue to have a peace of mind and have more confidence towards the country.”
“I hope that I can be unselfish, and become someone who does not constantly think of the past mistakes, and at the same time be more understanding towards others. Although I have only enlisted in the army for 6 months, I can already feel that I’m a changed person.”
At the end, Kangin expressed that “fans, I really miss everyone, when I stand before all of you once again, I will stand tall without an ounce of shame. I will be someone who is healthy inside and out.” Although Kangin looked thinner compared to before entering the army in the published photo, he is looking much healthier. Kangin joined the army last July and became a soldier responsible for communication.

Super Junior’s Kangin shares photos and his thoughts while in service
Through Korea’s army magazine, “Army Zine“, Super Junior’s Kangin revealed special photos from his days in service and shared some of the thoughts that have been running through his mind since he last updated fans of his whereabouts.
Asked to describe his feelings after entering the army, he stated, “I’m reflecting a lot on the fact that I wounded and disappointed my family and all of those who loved me before I enlisted… I go to sleep every night wondering, ‘Will I ever be loved again?”
He continued, “I’ve lost a lot of weight since then and have regained my health. My thoughts towards our nation has changed a lot as well. When asked about what he hoped to learn through his service, he revealed, “I hope to become a person that puts others before me. Someone that isn’t selfish and doesn’t think wrongful thoughts. It’s only been six months since I’ve entered, but if I were to discharge with the determination I have now, I’m sure that I’ll be able to show how much I’ve changed.”
To conclude, Kangin left a message for his fans by writing,” Our fans! I really miss you all so much. I will be standing before you all as someone who is both healthy and confident inside and out, so that I won’t be embarrassed (of myself) when I greet you. I hope that you will wait for me, and I hope that everything you pursue will come true. Please wait for me until my discharge.”
